Snow Day = Fun Day!

Last night and into this morning, the weather was nasty. We woke up to a solid sheet of ice and temperatures in the teens with windchills in the single digits. Nothing that would qualify for a snow day up north, but by Texas standards, it definitely was. Lane decided not to risk the 45 minute drive to work and stayed home with us!! It's been such a great day!

LC made us pancakes for breakfast.

We all snuggled in the living room with the fireplace roaring.

We played and played and played... thank goodness the swing set is still in the living room.

LC and I had chili for lunch... the perfect cold weather food... yum!

The 3 of us took amazing naps! P for 3 hours and LC and I about 2 hours.

P and I haven't gotten out of our pjs all day!

The temps have risen above freezing and everything is melting away. It should be a low key evening and tomorrow will be back to normal.

Play Time

Yesterday morning, P and I met YaYaNonna (P's creation) at a local mall, so Payton could run off some energy. It was a dreary day and I didn't want to be cooped up in the house. I love this play area because 1. it's not very crowded and 2. the toys and the floor are squishy so the kids can't really hurt themselves.

Happy Anniversary!

Today, Lane and I celebrate 3 years of wedded bliss. This has probably been the best and the worst year of our marriage. God definitely gave us a few trials, but by leaning on Him, we came through with a greater love for each other and a much stronger marriage. I can't wait to see what's in store for us this year!

I never get tired of looking at our wedding pictures! It was such a great day and we had an amazing party. I loved the look and feel of our venue. I loved dancing like no one was watching and being completely in the moment. I wasn't worried (that happened the day before) about the food, the tables, the drinks.... I was worried about having fun and celebrating with my new husband! People still comment on our reception!

And the MacBook Goes Back....

After using it for several days, I decided I really didn't like it. at. all.

Lane thinks I return everything he buys me and says he's not buying me anything again. I hope he's not serious. It's fun to get presents from your hubby!!

Rock A Bye Baby

Payton thinks she needs to give her baby a ride on the rocking giraffe.
