Teagan's Pink and Orange Sprinkle

I am so blessed to have the best friends ever! Elaine and Kristin threw a GORGEOUS pink and orange sprinkle for me last weekend (33 weeks).

4 generations... Aya, me/Teagan, and Nonnie

My friend Carole. She's due on the 31st with baby Charlotte. Yes, my belly is bigger than Carole's and she's 4 weeks ahead of me! Carole is so sweet and says it's because she's taller and carries closer to her body.

The Kappas minus Parra... It's so crazy to think I've been friends with these amazing ladies for almost 10 years!!

The drink set up. Mimosas and a yummy pink punch.

The food... baked brie, mini quiche, strudel bites, and fruit salad

The sweet cravings table!

Kristin made those adorable onesies on the clothes line.

Big and Little Sister tees from Aya.

The cutest tooth fairy pillows from the Barkleys. Mere always finds the.best.gifts!

Teagan's first bathing suit from Nonnie and Deeda. They gave P her first suit too. My kiddos are destined to be water babies.

What a difference a week makes

Thanks to Elaine for the super fab blue shirt! Clearly I love it since it's in the belly pics for 2 weeks straight ;)

Since I know Parra has been wanting to ask me to post a pic, here's one from last week... at 39 weeks exactly... trying to keep Payton from coming until Lane was able to make it home from Alabama.

37 weeks

Since I'm sure everyone loves the bare belly pics, here's one from today at 37 weeks. I can't tell much of a difference from last week. I go to the doctor again tomorrow, so let's hope for even more progress!

36 weeks!

It's official! Payton could come any time now.

Tomorrow is my first internal exam... checking for any progress. I'm hoping to be a tiny bit dilated, but have a feeling she'll tell me everything is shut tight.

Here's the belly today.... Payton is taking her own sweet time dropping, but at least she's a little lower than a few days ago.

1 month to go!

We officially have 1 month to go as long as Payton isn't early! This pregnancy has completely flown by. I just hope these last 4 weeks continue at the current pace and don't slow down. I do think my organization and planning nature is sometimes a curse. Except for installing the carseat base, everything is done! My bag is packed except for last minute toiletries like the hairdryer and makeup. Dr F said that basically if anything happens between now and Thursday, they'll treat it as preterm labor and try to stop any progress, but after Thursday, she's free to come at any time. As long as she's completely healthy, I have no problem with her coming early!! I know that she'll come when she's ready, but don't think that'll stop me from eating spicy food, walking, sitting on the exercise ball and the other labor inducing action (I'm sure Lane will be so dissapointed).

Here's a belly pic from today....

33 weeks 4 days

Payton is still in my ribs and it's getting even more uncomfortable the bigger she gets. I'm hoping she'll start making her decent soon. I've started sitting on an exercise ball - I've read it will help her drop and it helps ease the ligament pain I've been having. I've only almost rolled off it twice ;)

97 days!

Wow! It seems like yesterday we found out I was pregnant, and now there's less than 100 days until Baby C gets here. Our summer is packed so I think this last part will fly by.... one can hope! People have FINALLY started asking me when I'm due, what I'm having, etc.... I guess I finally "popped".

24 Weeks!

We've made it to another milestone! If, God forbid, Baby C decided to come now, her chances of survival are greater than 75%. Obviously, we want her to cook as long as possible, but it's great to know she would most likely make it!!!

We have our regular ob visit next week. These next 3 visits will be with the other doctors in the practice, so we can meet them in case one is on call when I'm admitted.

We're also going to Birmingham next weekend! This will be the last time I go before the baby's born, so we're having a baby shower. It should be a lot of fun and I can't wait to see the girls!

22 weeks 3 days

Here's another belly pic - taken at night when the belly gets a little bigger. My Pat Green t-shirt from college is getting a little snug around the middle ;) Everyone keeps commenting on how small I am.... let's hope the weight gain still stays low so it won't be hard to get off after she comes.

21 weeks!

So exciting! Lane felt Baby C move last night. It feels like a little bump right now. It's so cool that he can finally feel what I've been feeling on the inside. Her movement really has picked up quite a bit.

Here's a 21 week belly pic just for Parra ;) I still think people just think I'm fat.... luckily I'm only up 10 pounds!

20 weeks 5 days

The BIG ultrasound was today! Baby girl Chamblee is still measuring exactly how far along I am.... 20 weeks 5 days. She's approximately 9.1 inches long and weighs approximately 14 ounces.

Here she is with her bottom up in the air and her knees basically to her nose. I can't wait to see her! I think she has the cutest little button nose and perfect little lips.

16 weeks 5 days

4th doctors appointment today! Dr F found the heartbeat with no problems - yay. She said everything looks great. I'd been having some pain in my abdomen that still hasn't gone away. She said to take it easy, but if it gets worse or doesn't go away to call her..... I think it's just my body getting ready for a growth spurt from Baby Chamblee.

After some discussion, Lane and I decided to go ahead with the quad screen. We were both undecided about this test based on all the false positives we've read about. Some good friends had a scary few weeks because of this test and now they have a healthy, happy 15 month old baby girl! Now it's just a waiting game to get the results back. Say a prayer for us that everything comes out within normal range.

The big ultrasound is scheduled for May 8!!! We FINALLY get to find out if its pink or blue. I'm so excited and hope these next 4 weeks fly by.

Vegas Baby!

We just got back from Vegas with our friends, the Renfows! The mornings were spent at the pool and the nights were spent: watching the NCAA Finals at ESPNZone, going to see the Cirque show Mystere, eating fab food and Wheel Of Fortune slots. We had a good time, but not being able to drink with everyone was TERRIBLE! Lane had a fabulous time gambling (even though he came home with less money than he left with) and I'm so thankful he had Jeff and Elaine to keep him company once I went to bed.
